Due to continued growth within ZuCar, we are now recruiting for a fully-qualified Motor Technician or Fitter to join our state-of-the-art Little Island dealership on a full-time basis.

 

 

 

Overview:

 

 

 

At ZuCar what our Service and Reconditioning Technicians do first and foremost is work as a team. They focus on the customer to ensure that they receive the most rewarding customer experience. Our Technicians educate our customers and other staff members on preserving the safe operation and value of motor vehicles, and show them how we can make this easy. 

 

 

 

Here’s what you’ll do: 

 

 

 

  • Through the use of state-of-the-art Snap-On diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required. 
  • Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them. 
  • Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification. 
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others. 
  • Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified. 
  • Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor. 
  • Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with warranty and ZuCar Dealer requirements. 
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools. 
  • Work with other workshop and ZuCar Dealer colleagues to provide excellent customer service. Share best practice when appropriate. 
  • Coach and mentor junior members and apprentices in your team to ensure that they learn best practice.

Requirements:

 

 

 

Applicants must possess a full Irish or EU driving licence - an EU passport or a full-time work VISA is also an essential requirement for this role.
