There's new frontrunner in the race for the 2024 ZuCar Golden Boot award!

Eimear Smyth's remarkable tally of 0-14 against Derry on Wednesday evening has propelled the Fermanagh star to the top of the current rankings.

The Derrygonnelly Harps sharpshooter has the chance to further extend her lead next Sunday when Fermanagh, who have qualified for the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship semi-finals, take on London in their final round-robin fixture in Group A.

In the current top 6, Smyth is four points ahead of senior stars Carla Rowe (Dublin) and Olivia Divilly (Galway), with players from Carlow, Clare, and Leitrim still in the running.

The ZuCar Golden Boot award will be presented to the player who finishes as the leading scorer across the three grades in the TG4 All-Ireland Junior, Senior, and Intermediate Championships.
